The opening ceremony of the 2025 edition of the Rally of Portugal took place today in my city, Coimbra.
It's going to be three days of excitement, adrenaline and lots of dust. This is the 58th edition and the fifth included in the 14 World Rally Championship (WRC) events. It has 24 stages totaling around 350 timed kilometers.
After the opening round in Coimbra, the cars headed to Figueira da Foz, where a superspecial began in the city center - the only one on asphalt.
Tomorrow it starts to hurt. Figueira da Foz, Mortágua, Lousã, Góis, Arganil, Agueda, Sever do Vouga and Albergaria are the places where this huge motorsport entourage will pass through.
