As I mentioned in yesterday's post , we had to chlorinate the tank at the Ecoland Hotel. This is a necessary and regulated procedure to ensure water quality, so today we had to make a follow-up visit to check how the tank level was holding up after the treatment. It is important to make sure everything is in order, especially when it comes to facilities that serve so many people.
Since it was Sunday, we decided not to get up too early. We took the opportunity to rest a little longer and leave calmly, but we calculated the time to arrive just when the quality control staff would be on site. This time, our son wanted to accompany us. He thought it was a good opportunity to spend time with us and enjoy the tour, which always has its charm.

Como les conté en la publicación de ayer , tuvimos que clorar el tanque del Hotel Ecoland. Es un procedimiento necesario y reglamentado para garantizar la calidad del agua, así que hoy nos tocó hacer una visita de seguimiento para verificar cómo se mantenía el nivel del tanque después del tratamiento. Es importante asegurarse de que todo esté en orden, especialmente cuando se trata de instalaciones que prestan servicios a tantas personas.
Como era domingo, decidimos no madrugar demasiado. Aprovechamos para descansar un poco más y salir con calma, pero calculamos el tiempo para llegar justo cuando el personal de calidad estuviera presente en el lugar. Esta vez, nuestro hijo quiso acompañarnos. Le pareció una buena oportunidad para compartir con nosotros y disfrutar del recorrido, que siempre tiene su encanto.
The weather was spectacular. Clear skies and ideal temperatures for walking around the island. The views along the way were breathtaking. It's wonderful to live surrounded by nature and postcard-perfect landscapes; it's something I love and find fascinating.

When we arrived at the Sunsol Ecoland hotel, we were greeted very warmly. It's always nice to meet people who do their job with a smile and a positive attitude. We only had to wait a few minutes before climbing into the tank for the inspection. Everything was in order, which put our minds at ease.
Al llegar al hotel Sunsol Ecoland, nos recibieron con mucha amabilidad. Siempre es grato encontrarse con personas que hacen su trabajo con buena disposición y una sonrisa. Solo tuvimos que esperar unos minutos antes de subir al tanque para hacer la revisión correspondiente. Todo estaba en orden, lo cual nos dio mucha tranquilidad.
Once the inspection was over, we left. Our son had an idea in mind: to take advantage of lunchtime to visit his grandfather and spend some time with the family. We thought it was an excellent idea, so we headed back to my father's house.
During the trip, our son was delighted with the scenery.

He kept commenting on how beautiful everything looked. And he was right: the trees, the mountains in the distance, the blue sky, and especially the clouds that looked so low. It was a natural spectacle that made us feel peaceful and grateful.
No dejaba de comentar lo bonito que se veía todo. Y tenía razón: los árboles, las montañas a lo lejos, el cielo azul y, en especial, las nubes que se veían tan bajitas. Era un espectáculo natural que nos hizo sentir en paz y agradecidos.
When we arrived at my dad's house, we quickly prepared a family lunch. Nothing too elaborate, but made with love. My father was happy to see us. You could tell by his smile and the way he couldn't stop talking while we ate.
We spent part of the afternoon with him, enjoying his company and the tranquility of the house. Then we said goodbye with our hearts full of joy, satisfaction, and the sense of having fulfilled our responsibilities while also spending time with our family.
Al llegar a casa de mi papá, preparamos rápidamente un almuerzo familiar. Nada muy elaborado, pero hecho con cariño. Mi padre estaba feliz de vernos. Se le notaba en la sonrisa y en la manera en que no paraba de hablar mientras comíamos.
Pasamos parte de la tarde con él, disfrutando de su compañía y de la tranquilidad de la casa. Luego, nos despedimos con el corazón lleno de alegría, satisfacción y el deber de haber cumplido con nuestras responsabilidades y, al mismo tiempo, haber dedicado tiempo a la familia.
That's how we spent our Sunday: between work, nature, and family affection. A simple day, but full of beautiful moments that recharged us with positive energy to start the week in good spirits.
