Today I want to share with you a special moment we experienced as a family, something that fills me with joy and gratitude. After completing my work for the day, we decided to embark on a little adventure: accompanying my father to La Vela mall.

Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes un momento especial que vivimos en familia, algo que me llena de alegría y gratitud. Después de haber cumplido con mi trabajo del día, decidimos emprender una pequeña aventura: acompañar a mi padre al centro comercial La Vela.
The doctor recommended walking as part of her daily routine, and taking advantage of the fact that we all had time, we agreed to enjoy a family walk. Sharing time together is something we always value very much, and this was the perfect excuse to do so.
It was my father who chose this mall. For him, La Vela has something special, something that transmits well-being and tranquility. Perhaps it is because his roots are deeply connected to the sea, as he comes from a family of fishermen. Being near the water always fills us with energy and gives us an indescribable peace. This mall also has a unique design. Some of its balconies are made in the shape of boats, which gives it a charming maritime air.
It is an ideal place to spend an afternoon in good company.
El médico le recomendó caminar como parte de su rutina diaria, y aprovechando que todos teníamos tiempo, nos pusimos de acuerdo para disfrutar de un recorrido en familia. Compartir tiempo juntos es algo que siempre valoramos mucho, y esta fue la excusa perfecta para hacerlo.
Fue mi padre quien eligió este centro comercial. Para él, La Vela tiene algo especial, algo que le transmite bienestar y tranquilidad. Quizás sea porque sus raíces están profundamente conectadas con el mar, ya que proviene de una familia de pescadores. Estar cerca del agua siempre nos llena de energía y nos da una paz indescriptible. Este centro comercial, además, tiene un diseño único. Algunos de sus balcones están hechos en forma de barcos, lo que le da un aire marítimo encantador.
Es un lugar ideal para pasar una tarde en buena compañía.
As we went up the escalators, I couldn't help but admire the roof. Its design, shaped like the stern of a ship, is simply fascinating. The metal structure that supports it is so well crafted that it makes you feel as if you are actually sailing. Those details make this place unique.

One of the things I love most about this mall is how it is constantly being renovated. There is always something new to discover. For example, this year they are working on remodeling the food fair. Although it's not finished yet, the progress is amazing, and I'm sure it will be ready by the next time we go. I can't wait to see what it will look like.
Una de las cosas que más me encanta de este centro comercial es cómo se mantiene en constante renovación. Siempre hay algo nuevo que descubrir. Por ejemplo, este año están trabajando en la remodelación de la feria de comida. Aunque no está terminada aún, los avances son sorprendentes, y estoy segura de que la próxima vez que vayamos ya estará lista. Estoy ansiosa por ver cómo quedará.
During our tour, something caught my eye in the distance: my husband and my father were standing together, right in front of the ice cream sign. They both have a special sweet tooth, so I already knew that a stop at the ice cream shop was inevitable. After wandering the aisles some more, we decided to sit down at Nice Cream, a charming ice cream shop.
The service at Nice Cream was great. The girls who served us wore uniforms with the ice cream shop's logo and were very friendly. They treated us with a smile that made the experience even more special. The ice cream we tasted was exquisite, so creamy and delicious that, to everyone's surprise, my father asked for a second round. It is these simple moments that truly fill us with great joy and excitement!
Durante nuestro recorrido, algo llamó mi atención a lo lejos: mi esposo y mi padre estaban juntos, justo frente al cartel de los helados. Ambos tienen un gusto especial por los dulces, así que ya sabía que una parada en la heladería era inevitable. Después de pasear un poco más por los pasillos, decidimos sentarnos en Nice Cream, una heladería encantadora.
La atención en Nice Cream fue estupenda. Las chicas que nos atendieron llevaban uniformes con el logo de la heladería y fueron muy amables. Nos trataron con una sonrisa que hizo que la experiencia fuera aún más especial. La barquilla que probamos estaba exquisita, un helado tan cremoso y delicioso que, para sorpresa de todos, mi padre pidió una segunda ronda. ¡Esos momentos simples son los que verdaderamente nos llenan de gran alegría y emoción!
I can't fail to mention how much fun we had. Our son, who always has a trick up his sleeve, got several laughs out of us with his jokes. My husband also joined in, but the real competitor this time was my father, who was inspired and couldn't stop making us laugh. Between jokes and ice cream, the time flew by.
This outing was not only an opportunity to spend time as a family, but also a way for my father to have a pleasant and joyful walk. I saw him happy, enjoying every moment, and that, to me, was very important.
No puedo dejar de mencionar cuánto nos divertimos. Nuestro hijo, que siempre tiene algún truco bajo la manga, nos sacó varias risas con sus bromas. Mi esposo también se unió, pero el verdadero competidor esta vez fue mi padre, quien estaba inspirado y no dejaba de hacernos reír. Entre bromas y helados, el tiempo pasó volando.
Esta salida no solo fue una oportunidad para pasar tiempo en familia, sino también una manera de que mi padre hiciera una caminata agradable y llena de alegría. Lo vi feliz, disfrutando de cada momento, y eso, para mí, fue muy importante.
