This weekend we decided to do something different, get away from the usual routine and go out to visit some friends we hadn't seen in a while. They live in Villa Rosa, a picturesque place in the municipality of Garcia, and we took the opportunity to combine our visit with a small favor they had asked us to do: have our son check his computer and set up his internet.
The three of us left together, my husband, our son and I, in the afternoon. The tour was an excellent opportunity to enjoy the road and admire both the urban and natural scenery that characterizes this area. Villa Rosa is a place full of life. I could not pass up the opportunity to take some pictures, as I always like to capture those moments to keep as memories.

Este fin de semana decidimos hacer algo diferente, alejarnos de la rutina habitual y salir a visitar a unos amigos a quienes hacía tiempo no veíamos. Ellos viven en Villa Rosa, un pintoresco lugar en el municipio García, y aprovechamos para combinar nuestra visita con un pequeño favor que nos habían pedido: que nuestro hijo revisará su computadora y configure su internet.
Salimos los tres juntos, mi esposo, nuestro hijo y yo, en horas de la tarde. El recorrido fue una excelente oportunidad para disfrutar del camino y admirar tanto el paisaje urbano como natural que caracteriza esta zona. Villa Rosa es un lugar lleno de vida. No podía dejar pasar la oportunidad de tomar algunas fotografías, ya que siempre me gusta capturar esos momentos para guardarlos como recuerdos.
The visit to our friends was just great. We shared a very pleasant evening in their home while our son, who has a great talent for technology, took care of troubleshooting the computer and adding a security key to the home internet. It was gratifying to see our friends' satisfaction at having these issues resolved, and we were also able to catch up on our lives, which made the experience even more meaningful.
La visita a nuestros amigos fue simplemente genial. Compartimos una tarde muy agradable en su hogar mientras nuestro hijo, que tiene un gran talento para la tecnología, se encargaba de solucionar los problemas de la computadora y añadir una clave de seguridad al internet de la casa. Fue gratificante ver la satisfacción de nuestros amigos al tener estos temas resueltos, y además pudimos ponernos al día sobre nuestras vidas, lo que hizo la experiencia aún más significativa.
At the end of the visit, and with our appetite whetted, our son had a great idea: to invite us to eat pizza at the Paraguachi Plaza Bakery. To tell the truth, I loved the proposal because it meant I wouldn't have to cook that night.
Besides, enjoying a freshly baked pizza is a luxury that always brightens up the day!
Ya al finalizar la visita, y con el apetito despertado, nuestro hijo tuvo una estupenda idea: invitarnos a comer pizza en la Panadería Paraguachi Plaza. La verdad, me encantó la propuesta porque significaba que no tendría que cocinar esa noche.
Además, ¡disfrutar de una pizza recién horneada es un lujo que siempre alegra el día!
I highly recommend the pizzas from this bakery. The dough is thin, crispy and delicious, and each pizza is prepared at the time the order is placed. We ordered two family pizzas named “Loma de Guerra”. These came loaded with corn, ham, paprika and, of course, a generous amount of cheese that made them irresistible. Every bite melted in our mouths and filled us with satisfaction. To complete the experience, the promotion included a soft drink, which made the offer even more attractive.
Les recomiendo muchísimo las pizzas de esta panadería. La masa es fina, crujiente y deliciosa, y cada pizza es preparada en el momento que se realiza el pedido. Nosotros pedimos dos pizzas familiares que llevaban por nombre de "Loma de Guerra". Estas venían cargadas con maíz, jamón, pimentón y, por supuesto, una generosa cantidad de queso que las hacía irresistibles. Cada bocado se deshacía en la boca y nos llenaba de satisfacción. Para completar la experiencia, la promoción incluía un refresco, lo que hacía la oferta aún más atractiva.
The atmosphere in the pizzeria also deserves a good compliment from me. It was pleasant, familiar and very cozy. The background music had a moderate volume, perfect to accompany the food without being invasive. We thoroughly enjoyed our time together, sharing laughter and conversation in such a pleasant environment.
After enjoying our delicious dinner, we made our way back home. Night had fallen, and although we were tired, we also felt very satisfied. These moments as a family allowed us to disconnect from the daily hustle and bustle and just be together. Lately my husband and I have been spending more time alone on the weekends, as our son has begun to explore other interests, which is completely normal and natural. So these outings where the three of us share are even more special.
El ambiente en la pizzería también merece un buen elogio de mi parte. Era agradable, familiar y muy acogedor. La música de fondo tenía un volumen moderado, perfecto para acompañar la comida sin resultar invasiva. Disfrutamos muchísimo de ese rato juntos, compartiendo risas y conversaciones en un entorno tan placentero.
Después de disfrutar de nuestra deliciosa cena, tomamos el camino de regreso a casa. Ya había caído la noche, y aunque estábamos cansados, también nos sentíamos muy satisfechos. Estos momentos en familia, nos permitimos desconectarnos del ajetreo diario y dedicarnos a estar juntos. Últimamente mi esposo y yo pasamos más tiempo solos los fines de semana, ya que nuestro hijo ha comenzado a explorar otros intereses, algo completamente normal y natural. Por eso, estas salidas en las que compartimos los tres son aún más especiales.
