My little brother decided to have a vacation here in Mindoro. It's a two-week vacation. I think there's no work in their company during that time, that's why he decided to go home. He arrived yesterday at 8 pm or something. We're already in bed at that time. Haha. I just discovered that he arrived when I went out for a bit to throw something, and I saw him outside our door. Mama actually fetch him somewhere, haha.
Then this morning, when I checked on him downstairs, he gave us these yummy slices of cake from Goldilocks. It has two flavors: butter and this marble with chocolate. So this becomes our breakfast, and what a delicious pasalubong!
We paired this delicious cake with Pancit from the nearby restaurant. I love the cake and Pancit combo, they are the best combination I swear! I love that I can eat something sweet and salty at the same time, I prefer it that way. I didn't prepare coffee because I decided not to drink it today.
And aside from the cake, we also got Polvoron from Goldilocks which is my favorite. It become my favorite since my late older sister gave this to us as a Pasalubong before. That was back when she's still with us and when she'll go travel back here in Mindoro then stop by here in our house. Actually, since I tasted it, it become my most requested pasalubong from her (✿^‿^).
I got Cashew, Pinipig and Ube flavor here but Pinipig is the best for me. Ever since, Pinipig is my favorite, next is peanut. I wish I can eat this everyday, but this is only good as dessert or after meal dessert. It's sweet, having it every day is bad. Hah! I have a lot if good memories with this Polvoron, especially it involves my big sister as she's the one who always treat me it. I just wish she's still with us and this time I'll be the one to treat her ┐(￣ヘ￣)┌.
Anyways, the reason my little brother travel back gome must be to relax and unwind here. Though Batangas has a lot of good place to visit, but for sure it's a bit expensive too. Going back here, I think he can save more that way. Another thing is, he has two small kidney stones that grows in his kidney and with him here, Mama can take care more of him. In here, he'll only have veggies and fish, lol. He is also controlling what he's eating right now that's why he lose weight since I last saw him. It's a good thing, meaning, he is also taking care of himself really well.
Ahh, he also brought Pancit Bato, according to him this was given by a friend and it's the authentic pancit bato. I can't really tell if it is but who cares if it is or not, it's free and we're grateful for this free pancit Uwu (^._.^)ﾉ. We'll cook this one of these day for sure. Ahhh, I can imagine it with lot's veggies, meat, squid balls and kikiam. ＼(^o^)／
