Hello my dear friends, today I come to share with you with great emotion a happy moment, and it is that recently, exactly on February 28th was my birthday. That day my sister took me out for a walk, she wanted us to spend a day as sisters, and we had a great day because she took me to lunch at an amazing place, which I would like to return, then she took me to the cafe where she works as a pastry chef and made me spend a great experience, but when I got home she asked me to close my eyes and not open them until she told me I could, and when the time came and I opened my eyes I saw a beautiful decoration on the wall of the living room of our house, accompanied by a deafening cry of “SURPRISE! “There were my neighbors, my parents, my aunt and several of my cousins.
Hola mis queridos amigos, hoy vengo a compartirles con mucha emoción un momento feliz, y es que hace poco. exactamente el 28 de febrero fue mi cumpleaños. Ese día mi hermana me llevó fuera de casa a dar un paseo, quería que pasáramos un día de hermanas, y vaya que pasamos un día estupendo porque me llevo a almorzar a un lugar increíble, al cual me gustaría regresar, posteriormente me llevó al café donde ella trabaja como pastelera y me hizo pasar una experiencia grandiosa, pero al llegar a la casa ella me pidió que cerrara los ojos y no los abriera hasta que ella me dijera que podía, y cuando llegó el momento y abrí los ojos vi una preciosísima decoración en la pared de la sala de nuestra casa, acompañada de un grito ensordecedor de "¡SORPRESA! " allí estaban mis vecinos, mis padres, mi tía y varios de mis primos.
I don't usually celebrate my birthdays, I don't know why but I didn't get used to it, I receive gifts and congratulations but I never set out to organize something for myself, in fact it felt rare a celebration in my house, but it was something that filled my soul and my heart with joy. Yes, officially I'm already a lady of 4 decades 😄 but as I'm also a Potterhead at heart (I love madly the Harry Potter saga 😍) they decided that all the decorations, including the cake would be Harry Potter themed, with the colors of Ravenclaw, my favorite Harry Potter house.
Yo no acostumbro a celebrar mis cumpleaños, no sé porqué pero no me acostumbré a hacerlo, recibo regalos y felicitaciones pero nunca me he propuesto organizar algo para mi, de hecho sentía rara una celebración en mi casa, pero fue algo que llenó mi alma y mi corazón de alegría. Mi familia no quería pasar desapercibido mi cumpleaños número 40. Sí, oficialmente ya soy una señora de las 4 décadas 😄 pero como también soy una Potterhead de corazón (amo con locura la saga de Harry Potter 😍) ellos decidieron que toda la decoración, incluyendo la torta fuesen con motivo de Harry Potter. con los colores de Ravenclaw, mi casa favorita de Harry Potter.
One of the things I liked the most was the cake, made by my cousin baker and decorated by my other cousin, the one who loves crafts, the most original detail is the topper that says 40 and 3/4 haha is allusive to the 9 and 3/4 the platform from which the Hogwarts express departs, but in this case alluded to my age.
Una de las cosas que más me gustó fue la torta, hecha por mi prima pastelera y decorada por mi otra prima, la que ama las manualidades, el detalle más original es el topper que dice 40 y 3/4 jaja es alusivo al 9 y 3/4 el andén del que parte el expreso de Hogwarts, pero en este caso hacía alusión a mi edad.
I honestly feel that this age is like any other, but I am aware that I have entered a new stage of maturity, where you are even more aware of the road you have traveled. I am very grateful to life, to God, of course, to my family, to my friends, for always being there, in the hardest moments of my life and even in the happiest ones. Once I was seriously ill because of peritonitis, I was only 27 years old and I could not have reached the 40 years I have today, but thanks to God's blessing first of all, and also to the support of all those people I love so much, I am here today.
Honestamente siento que esta edad es como cualquier otra, pero sí estoy consciente de que he entrado a una nueva etapa de madurez, donde eres aún más consciente del camino que has recorrido. Estoy muy agradecida con la vida, con Dios, desde luego, con mi familia, con mis amigos, por estar ahí desde siempre, en los momentos más duros de mi vida hasta en los más felices. Una vez estuve gravemente enferma a causa de la peritonitis, yo tan solo tenía 27 años y pude no haber llegado a cumplir los 40 que tengo hoy en día, pero gracias a la bendición de Dios primeramente, y también al apoyo de todas esas personas que tanto amo, estoy aquí hoy en día.
I repeat, I am extremely THANKFUL for having arrived at this stage, for life, for the health I have, for the opportunities that have arisen, for the new projects, for the love received from those who are special to me, for the blessings that have come to me from heaven, and for all that I have been able to contribute and will continue to contribute to the world, God willing.
Repito, estoy sumamente AGRADECIDA por haber arribado a esta etapa, pro la vida, pro la salud que tengo, por las oportunidades que han surgido, por los nuevos proyectos, por el amor recibido de los seres que son especiales para mi, por las bendiciones que me han llegado desde el cielo, y por todo lo que yo he podido aportar y seguiré aportando al mundo, Dios mediante.
Thanks also to this beautiful community that has always allowed us to express our ideas and feelings, a beautiful community where you can clearly feel the warmth of the family.
