Hello my dear Hivers of the @familyandfriends community. I hope you're all well and safe.
Today I wanna share with you a special day for my beloved aunt. She has been a good aunt to me. Back then she is my go-to when I needed something.
This year, she celebrates her 68th Birthday. My cousins really prepare for this day. The love their mother so much.
As a tradition, everyone in the family is invited. A nephew of mine came to our house to inform us about the dinner organized for my aunt's birthday.
Having so much respect for her, I and actually the whole family went to their house. We had chitchat there and the children played, while waiting for the food to be ready.
When the food was ready, another aunt of mine, led the prayer to bless the food and honor the birthday celebrant.
Everyone then digged in. Chitchat everywhere even if eating. That's so Filipino, I guess haha.
There's lechon, the all time favorite delicacy of Filipinos. And if course a cake, which makes a birthday even more joyous.
In general, we had a well spent night. Full of laughter and tummies full also.
