En esta ocasión fuimos a casa de mis abuelos paternos y es que mi abuela ya tiene casi 14 años de muerta y mi abuelo 4 años. Pero algo que casi siempre pasa luego de que los abuelos se van es que las cosas cambian mucho. Para ser sincera son pocas las veces que voy a casa de mis abuelos actualmente. Pero el día del trabajador mis hermanos decidieron reunirse en casa de mía abuelos y yo también fui y pasamos una tarde hermosa.

Donde está la casa de mis abuelos también están las casas de dos de mis tías y cuando llegamos una de mis tías tuvo la oportunidad de cargar a mi sobrina más pequeña. Y es que al verla hoy en día todos somos muy feliz ya que si lees mis post sabrás que mi sobrina nació prematura y paso casi un mes en el hospital y verla hoy así más grande y con más peso nos hace tan feliz. Y es que sin lugar a dudas ese acontecimiento nos unió más como familia.

Seeing her today, bigger and heavier, makes us so happy. Without a doubt, that event brought us closer together as a family.
Y si está gordita paso de brazos en brazos porque como estábamos reunidos en familia todos la querían cargar. Que felicidad tenerla en nuestra familia y poder verla crecer luego de haber pasado días tan difíciles con ella. Cuando Analy nació peso 1.600 gr y hoy en día está cerca de los 4.000 gr es maravilloso ver su proceso. Si sin lugar a dudas va a ser la más consentida de nuestra familia.

What a joy to have her in our family and to be able to watch her grow after having endured such difficult days with her. Estábamos sentados en el patio de la casa de nuestros abuelos. Y mi hermano se acordó de tantas vivencias y contando todo lo que hacíamos en casa de nuestros abuelos. Es increíble la ayuda que mis papás y mis tíos recibieron de mi abuela, pues ella ayudaba a cuidar a todos sus nietos mientras nuestros padres trabajaban. Es tan cierto eso de que la abuela que cría a sus nietos deja una huella imborrable en nuestros corazones. Algo que me pareció bonito es que estuvimos recordando el último día que mi abuela estuvo con nosotros y es que ese día fue un día antes de mi cumpleaños y decidimos hacer una sopa y ella disfruto de mucho de sus nietos y nunca pensamos que ese sería el último día de ella con nosotros.

Algo que me pareció gracioso es que nunca habia visto a mi tía tomar cervezas y este día ella estaba bebiendo una cerveza. Ella no lo sabe pero ella siempre fue la hermana favorita de mi papá. Tal vez porque era la menor de sus hermanas, pero sobre todo porque siempre ha sido una persona muy sabia y siempre le daba muy buenos consejos a mi papá.
Something I found funny was that I'd never seen my aunt drink beer, and today she was drinking a beer. She doesn't know it, but she was always my dad's favorite sister. Maybe because she was the youngest of his sisters, but mostly because she was always a very wise person and always gave my dad great advice.
Aunque en realidad no volvimos a la casa porque la casa está cerrada, pero si estuvimos en el patio de la casa de mis abuelos y se sintió muy lindo y sobre todo recordar lo importante que fueron nuestros abuelos en nuestras vidas, aunque ellos ya no están sus recuerdos van a estar siempre con nosotros.
Although we didn't actually go back to the house because it's closed, we did go to the patio of my grandparents' house and it felt very nice and, above all, we remembered how important our grandparents were in our lives. Even though they're no longer here, their memories will always be with us.
