Hi there #Family&Friends people, how are you? Today I'm going to share with you what was my mom's birthday, @carmen1659, for which we had two little surprises in store for her. First of all we told her to come to the room I share with my sister. There, on the bed was her birthday present, something she wanted all her life. We bought her a sewing machine and her reaction was very funny because she let out a scream of joy and excitement. We went to buy the gift in the morning and we didn't let her see it but in this way to surprise her better 😄 We were happy to see her so happy with her new acquisition 🤗.
¡Hola Hola, gente de #Family&Friends! ¿Cómo están? hoy voy a compartir con ustedes lo que fue el cumpleaños de mi mamá (@carmen1659), para lo cuál le teníamos preparadas dos pequeñas sorpresas. En primer lugar le dijimos que viniera a la habitación que comparto con mi hermana. Allí, sobre la cama estaba su regalo de cumpleaños, algo que ella quiso toda su vida. Nosotros le compramos una máquina de coser y su reacción fue muy graciosa porque dejó escapar un grito de alegría y emoción. Fuimos a comprar el regalo por la mañana y no le permitimos verlo sino de esta manera para sorprenderla mejor 😄 Nos alegró verla tan feliz con su nueva adquisición 🤗.
Since it was a special day we didn't want to cook, so we ordered fast food, something she likes a lot, I don't remember what this dish is called but it's Chilean and it's delicious because it contains a lot of meat, chorizo, french fries, tomato and lettuce. We usually accompany it with bread and we love it 😍, especially my mom.
Como era un día especial no quisimos cocinar, así que ordenamos comida rápida, algo que a ella le gusta mucho, no recuerdo como se llama este platillo pero es chileno y es delicioso porque contiene mucha carne, chorizo, papas fritas, tomate y lechuga. Usualmente lo acompañamos con pan y nos encanta 😍, sobre todo a mi mamá.
A quick, delicious meal every now and then comes in handy and my mom was happy with the day she was having: gift, special food and lots of love from us 🤗 😍, her family, but what she didn't know yet was that there was still a surprise ahead of her.
Una riquísima comida rápida de vez en cuando viene de maravilla y mi mamá estaba feliz con el día que estaba teniendo: regalo, comida especial y mucho amor de parte de nosotros 🤗 😍, su familia, pero lo que ella todavía no sabía era que aún quedaba una sorpresa por delante.
And she didn't know that we had a cake for her. You already know that I am a pastry chef so obviously I had to make something for my mommy, but so that she could not suspect anything, I prepared this cake at my work and I had kept it at my neighbors' house, then I went to get the cake and also to my neighbors so that we could sing Happy Birthday to my mom. She was beaming with happiness, and that in turn pleased me very much. She told me that the cake was delicious, I made it with two flavors: vanilla and chocolate, with a rich dulce de leche frosting.
y es que ella no sabía que le teníamos preparado un pastel. Ya ustedes saben que yo soy chef pastelera así que obviamente debía hacer algo para mi mami, pero para que ella no pudiera sospechar nada, yo preparé este pastel en mi trabajo y lo había guardado en casa de mis vecinos, luego fui a buscar el pastel y también a mis vecinos para que le cantáramos el Cumpleaños Feliz a mi mamá. Ella estaba radiante de felicidad, y eso a su vez me complace mucho. Me dijo que el pastel estaba delicioso, lo hice con dos sabores: vainilla y chocolate, con una rica cobertura de dulce de leche.
I hope God blesses her with many more years full of health, joy, happiness and prosperity, may she always be smiling and happy. I love you so much, Mommy! 😊
