Nice one! I bought one like this last year but now it isnt working. I looking into buying a better one, one with better quality. really helps with making videos using the phone.

That's the problem we get with devices, they can be unpredictable sometimes.
I hope you get a better one. You can probably go for a led light instead of the 18 inches Ring light if you have enough money at hand. They are still very much better and okay with great illuminations.
