The male Peafowl is a bird to be admired.
While doing a little research about this bird a few things surprised me,
like the fact that they can live up to 50 years.
Peacocks are the national bird of India.
Peacocks lose their tail feathers which number between 150 and 200.
This occurs every year after mating season.
Females are not called Peacocks, but rather Peahens.
Their trains can reach up to six feet long, but this doesn't stop them from flying even if just for short distances.
