In a month or two the grass will be green again and I might get to enocunter one of my favorite birds the Northern Flicker. This one is part of a nesting pair that hangs out in my neighbrohood. I have seen them around for a few years now, mostly one of them will be around but every so often I see the pair grazing though the green grass and if I ever felt that one of these was hard to capture due to them being startled fairly easily when you get two you almsot have to be inviisble because they will fly off immediatly if they here or see you.
