Warm greetings friends. I'm glad to have you visit my blog. Hope you're doing well. Don't forget to always prioritize self-care. Your wellness is important to me. 🥰

Some months ago, I shared a video post about how I've been witnessing a flock of birds visiting my neighborhood in. Aba, Abia State, especially black-headed weavers. You may want to watch it here.

After then, I didn't see them around again. I'm guessing they migrated to another region. But it seems like they're back because for the past few days now, I've been noticing their presence around my neighborhood in the early evenings between 5:000 - 6:00pm WAT.

They often arrive in their hundreds, filling the air with their joyful noise. LOL. Their rendezvous spot is a farmland that's been lying fallow for about two years now.

I'm guessing the recent weather fluctuation in my city, with rapid temperature changes, might have attracted them to our area or maybe the lush vegetation in the fallow farm.

Whatever the reason, it was a delight to watch them this evening, chattering and hovering over the green vegetation, which ultimately brought life and energy to my neighborhood.

I made a video of them to share with you, and I hope you'll enjoy watching it as I did recording it. 🥰

Thank you.

They're migrating from somewhere I think, do you know these kind of birds ate up my corn in the farm recently 😂

Yes, they usually come around during farming season and would often invade farmlands, eating the crops especially corn. Chai, so sorry.
