The eagle flew off and just out distance and went at such a high angle that the crows couldn't even catch up. In fact he was dealing damage left and right to the ones that he was fighting with because he wanted to fight with them.
Eagles don't bother Crow Nests. However crows will flock together and form huge bands to fight eagles.
I'm going to say that in the brief encounter that I witnessed I seen over 50 of these crows perish.
50?!?! That eagle was some fighter. How big was the flock?
