Greetings friends.
It's freezing outside. Birds need to eat a lot regularly at such a time. That's why I pour food into the bird feeders outside the window every evening. But sometimes I pour the seeds right on the windowsill. The birds have already gotten used to this and are completely unafraid to sit on the windowsill and peck at the seeds. Usually, there are yellow tits here, but today bullfinches took over this place and did not let the tits in here.
Birds are not even afraid of being hunted by my cat Busik. Today he tried to jump 2 times, but the glass prevented him from catching the birds. Bullfinches looked absolutely calmly at the cat's jumps and pecked at the seeds. They are already used to such actions of my cats.
But this calmness of the birds irritates the cat even more. When we lived in an apartment on the third floor, sparrows flew to the feeder on the windowsill. Their cheerful chirping attracted my cat Vasilisa. He was sitting on the windowsill inside the room, looking at the birds and swearing heavily in his cat language. He knew she couldn't catch them.
The Busik hunts completely soundlessly!
