Today we cut down a big mango tree in our house. We needed firewood for fuel. So we had to cut down the tree. It was a big tree and there was a bird's nest high up in the tree. When people were cutting down the tree, they threw down the bird's nest. I was watching this and when the bird's nest fell down, I saw little baby birds. I picked it up.

When the baby bird first saw me, it immediately tried to run away, although it couldn't fly very well. Then when I picked it up and tried to put it in a safe place, it probably understood that I wouldn't harm it. So when I tried to catch it after that, it didn't try to run away.
I tried to put it a little higher on the roof because the mother birds were chirping. When the little baby birds fell down along with the bird's nest, the big birds came up on the tree branch and were chirping very close. This is a beautiful black and white bird which I always see in our house and in the trees in our house. These are very common birds here and these birds are known as Shalik birds in our area. However, it is known as Goalka birds in the regional language. However, I later put this bird a little higher on the roof so that the mother birds can take it.
