I didn't know your hearing was so bad. How did you have a conversation with WellyMan when he caught you? Was it full, of.. 'what', 'eh'... etc?
I get this now as my hearing is gradually going. Life without music would be awful. I have to turn it up louder.
Ah welly man LOL, well I was towering over him about 2 ft away and aids did help. but as it is progressive it gets worse as you get older, even avoiding noise, once the damage is done. With no back ground noise it was ok otherwise truly fucked.
Thing is turning it up exacerbates the problem!!!
Background noise, I know all about that. It's a pain in the arse at work, whereas outside I get less problems. So you explore with those things in your ears?

Yup, and it makes exploring more exciting, as I can now hear the creaking and other WTF noises that I was oblivious to before LOL
