Good luck with your pumpkin experiment @beeber and the World Championship;) I'm sure the seeds should still be good.
You had a nice variety last year but those snails are a real pest with some plants! I agree with you, freshly picked tastes way better!

        Yes the snakes are horror here too, but with the pumpkins last year it was okay, because otherwise we would have had 50 pumkins or so ;-)
        This year hopefully the snakes will not klimb on the tree
