That is so true @lizelle. I didn't understand what was happening then. You can lose yourself and your identity and not find your way back. I was just happy that I came through that incident unscathed. I shudder to think of the alternative that could have happened near those train tracks.

At least my granddaughter understood what I was trying to convey. When you speak with young adults, they automatically think that older people weren't once teens and did the exact same things, but in different ways and circumstances.
