When talking about Sanxia, it's impossible not to mention Taipei University,After separating from Chung Hsing University, Taipei University has two campuses: the College of Law and Business in the Taipei campus and the main campus in Sanxia Dist., New Taipei. According to a friend of mine who studies at the Taipei campus, it’s so small that it barely feels like a university. In contrast, the Sanxia campus is vast and well worth a visit.

To get from Taipei to Taipei University’s Sanxia campus, there are multiple public transportation options besides driving. Since my friends and I were meeting at Taipei Main Station, we decided to take the train and transfer to a bus. The transfer wasn’t exactly convenient, and the travel time was quite long. However, with good company, time seemed to fly by.

In fact, our trip wasn’t specifically to explore the Sanxia campus of Taipei University. We were actually visiting a friend who lives in Sanxia. Her newly renovated home was said to be stunning, and the amenities in her community were top-notch, including a swimming pool, computer room, and library. At the time, housing prices in Sanxia were quite reasonable, making it an attractive option for people in Taipei. Since my friend usually drives to work, living in Sanxia was very convenient for him.

The Sanxia campus of Taipei University was close to her home, so we made a quick stop to explore and take pictures. Since it was March, we were lucky to see some beautiful cherry blossoms. What impressed me the most was the tree-lined pathways in the school. Walking through them felt incredibly relaxing and peaceful.

Of course, no trip to Sanxia would be complete without food! We tried Sanhe Handmade Noodles and couldn’t miss Sanxia Old Street. We indulged in the famous tofu pudding and sampled various local snacks along the way. The whole trip was packed with experiences. I didn’t take too many photos, but staying overnight at my friend’s beautiful home, surrounded by scenic views, felt like stepping into a dream. It was as if we had escaped the hustle and bustle of Taipei and stumbled upon our own little paradise.
