You might be thinking 'Beatles'.., but it's a very dodgy city, and was once famous for having your car nicked if you left it for a second.., that's stolen in American!

My granddaughter studied in Lancaster one semester. I looked up places she should avoid in England. I think Liverpool was on that list :))

I lived in New York City for many years. There are places in that city I have never been, would never go. I certainly wouldn't take a car there. I think it's the same all over the world.

I have visited NYC several times, a friend of mine lived in Bay Ridge. He was shocked when I asked him if it was safe to walk the streets!...

I went to Bay Ridge High School! Was a really nice, middle class neighborhood. Other parts of Bay Ridge were actually exclusive. I had a cousin who lived on Colonial Road...really expensive homes there. I don't know how Bay Ridge is today, but years ago it was lovely.
I used to take a bus from Bensonhurst, which was another middle class neighborhood, although it didn't have exclusive homes, as Bay Ridge did.
