I still think you need to carry around a machete or at the very least some secateurs for jobs like this. It might make things a bit easier for you! It sure beats getting strangled by vines!

They are deemed to be deadly weapons here, you can get arrested for owning one, never mind carrying.
I could use one for the back of my house... all that nettles shit that grows every summer. That or some deadly herbicide.
