Wow, that is a really cool building. I wouldn't have expected the inside to look like that. Is it just because all the windows are boarded up or are most pubs in England so dark and dingy? I meant that last bit with the chandeliers is pretty bright, but most of the other stuff is just very dark.

        A lot of the old pubs have closed down to be replaced by restaurants that double up as them. There's some left, but less every day and they do tend to be dark places. Having no windows doesn't help things and accentuates that.

              We still have some dive bars too that are pretty dark. I guess it is a worldwide thing!
