"Cats are very interesting beings that have been with humanity for thousands of years in a symbiotic relationship where the cat controls pests in people's homes and businesses, and in return, people provide them with a safe place where they can find refuge and sleep peacefully without fearing any predator.

However, cats tend to be very fertile, able to have several kittens in each litter, typically between 4 to 6 kittens, two to three times a year. As a result, a home can quickly become filled with many cats, and if they are not spayed or neutered, many people end up abandoning them.

Although cats have never abandoned their independent nature, it is common to see many homeless cats. In some places, like here near the Colegio de Ingenieros station, there are people who usually feed this community of cats, and it is very common to see playful and cute kittens looking at us with their innocence.

Los gatos son seres muy interesantes que llevan con la humanidad miles de años, en una relaciona simbiótica en donde el gato controla las plagas en los hogares y negocios de las personas y a cambio, las personas le proporcionan un lugar seguro donde pueden venir a refugiarse y dormir tranquilo sin temer que algún depredador le amenace.

Sin embargo los gatos suelen ser muy fértiles, pudiendo tener en cada camada varios gatitos a la vez entre 4 a 6 gatitos entre 2 hasta 3 veces al años, por lo que pueden llenarse un hogar de muchos gatos muy rápidamente y si no se esterilizan los gatos, al final muchas personas los dejan abandonados.

Aunque los gatos nunca han abandonado su carácter independiente, es común ver muchos gatos sin hogar y en algunos lugares como aquí cerca de la estación colegio de ingenieros, hay personas que suelen darles comida a esta comunidad de gatos y allí es muy frecuente ver a juguetones y lindos gatitos que nos ven con su inocencia.
