** Good day, my amiable Hivers. It has been long since I checked in here; what a long break. I traveled to village during new year celebration and it turned out to be my heaven on Earth, before I traveled, I faced somany challenges, from having a terrible accident that dislocated my bone, thief stealing my phone in shop to landlord selling my shop, it was so devastating as I didn't know which one to face at that moment and the year 2024 was almost coming to an end, I called my Mom and table out all I was facing to her and she advised me to compose myself and relax my mind to avoid having high blood pressure, then she advised me to come down to east where she reside as i reside in western part of Nigeria, I did just as she said, during December celebration 2024, I left everything in Lagos and traveled to my home down, i saw joy all over her when she saw me, she was singing, praising God for bringing me safely home after all I had been through in city, then she killed big chicken for me and used it to cook pounded yam, at night when I went to sleep, she came with big blanket to cover me as there was too much cold at village within the period, oooh i was pampered like a baby.

The second day in the village, she took me to her sister's place to meet with her children that came back from outside the country, and it was love all through, as the wife of my cousin brother gave birth to a beautiful baby girl, and the baby didn't leave my arms until I left. The third day in the village, we went to my cousin's wedding, which was full of enjoyment too. 
On the fourth day, we went to Thanksgiving services. and it was awesome; my mom never left me out of her sight; she always watched me like a baby and provided everything I asked for.
I started gaining weight, and so many clothes I traveled with couldn't fit me; the heart pain I was having before I traveled disappeared; all the sickness in my body disappeared, and I was wondering how it happened. It was mother's love in action. Reaching the day I was supposed to travel back to the city, I wasn't sure if I actually wanted to leave my mom, but I had to. Upon reaching where I would enter the bus, I noticed a scarcity of buses and went back to the village immediately. I was happy because I had to stay two days more before I finally came back to the city.
Mother's love is far better than medicine, as it heals the heart completely.
