I love how you put it! Very true. They can be very valuable insight, even otherwise wrong relationships. Everything can help us grow, in the long run :)

I think people come into our lives to teach us specific lessons. Lord, have I had an exhaustive education in my life! Lol.
It's my favorite proverb. I found it in 2011 when I was writing my best man speech at my brother's wedding.
