RE: Good Coach/Bad Coach

I was a good coach in the few times that I have done it. I was a player at the same time I was coaching and I did it for free. I introduced kids to real playing and actually knew the game. I encouraged the kids to use tactics that they probably had never heard of or realized was important and seriously rewarded them when they would execute these plays effectively. I like to think that this was instrumental in their development and that they remember me... who knows.

We need more coaches like that. My brother in law is a really good one. I think my wife would be a good one too. I don't think I have the patience for it personally. I'd get too frustrated!
