Mama Ading arrives home with snacks in her eco bag. I immediately get the eco bag from her to check because I am a glutton, lol. That's the first thing I do whenever she arrives from somewhere. And I am like a bandit who can't wait but to get the pasalubong from her hand. Lol. I just know that Mama will bring back a snack at home, it may be a bread or a kakanin. But she brought something different this time. It's new, but I already had those snacks before, I'm sure of it. └( ^ω^)」
But they look different, and I knew they are from a different shop. It's the same but different, it tastes yummier too. I love this one more than those I had before from a different shop. From then on, whenever Mama goes to visit Bongabong, I will request a pasalubong, particularly those Asado Buns, Cheesy Nilupak, and the Empanada. Back then, asado and empanadas were only 10 pesos each, but now they're 20 -each! As for the nilupak, it remained the same, the taste is still as good as I remember.

It's been years since I last tasted those three. That's why, when we visited Bongabong the other week, I made sure to check on them in the Market where they sell these to buy some of them. Mama said they are available everyday, luckily we found those three that day and yum, look at all these! We don't have them in Bansud ┐( ̄ヘ ̄)┌, i'm jealous.

And look at these Nilupak, they are made with cassava, it was mashed or pound and I think it has coconut milk and sugar. Then for the topping it has cheese. I prefer cheese as the toppings if nilupak because it made more creamier. And I think the salty taste of cheese goes perfectly well to the nilupak.

So here's the Asado Bun, seriously, this one is the best! I love that there's a chunks of chicken meat inside with potato in it. I also love the softness of the buns, this is surely a freshly made. It is really just sad that I can't eat two of this in one sitting because one for 20 pesos is already a big deal for me. If only they are just 10 pesos (╥﹏╥). But either way, I am glad that I get the chance to eat this again ♪ \(^ω^\ ).

Now for empanada, I am really disappointed with this one. Before their fillings has pork in it, then they change it into chicken. But right now, I don't know, it only has potato, raisins and sausage I think? The taste is still good, the dough? It's perfection, but, where's the chunk of chicken? And there's no more egg in it as well. It's disappointing and really saddening. But still, I enjoy it's crispy dough. It's a good thing the dough taste really good and crispy, coz if not, I'll never eat this again. If course I will eat this again if I get the chance ╮(^▽^)╭

And now for the cheesy nilupak, this one still taste the same, cheesy and really delicious. What I like about this is that it is still cheap, maybe because the ingredients is cassava? The last time we bought a cassava 1 kilo of it cost 20 pesos or $0.35. But still, the process of making this is really hard. Anyways, i'm just glad that this is still cheap. I got five slice of this for 20 pesos only. Before the lady give the Nilupak to us, she grated cheese on top of it first.
Seeing all these snacks made me crave for them again. I really want asado bun right now! Mommy F loves nilupak so I also want that. Hahhhh, how I wish Bongabong is really just close to us. ┐(´ー`)┌
