On Saturday, which was commemorative for Women's Day, I took the opportunity to try them at the El Recreo shopping mall in the capital of Caracas.
Había subido a realizar unas diligencias y por supuesto que, me agarró la hora del almuerzo y fui por la opción de probarlas ya que estaba tentada desde hace semanas a comerme una hamburguesa, y qué mejor opción que esta, ¿no?
I had gone upstairs to run some errands and of course, lunchtime caught me and I went for the option to try them since I had been tempted for weeks to eat a hamburger, and what better option than this, right?
Bueno, el lugar de por sí estaba un poco lleno, supongo porque fui justo a la hora pico, tipo 12:30 del mediodía, había varias opciones y yo elegí que se llama WowboxStrips, que trae: Una hamburguesa básica, dos strips, una papa frita, y un refresco, todo por 6 USD, me pareció bien para todo lo que trae el combo, y por un dólar más podías agrandar las papas fritas y el vaso de refresco, y fue justamente lo que hice.
Well, the place itself was a little crowded, I guess because I went right at rush hour, about 12:30 noon, there were several options and I chose the one called WowboxStrips, which brings: A basic burger, two strips, a french fry, and a soda, all for 6 USD, it seemed good for everything that brings the combo, and for a dollar more you could enlarge the fries and the glass of soda, and that's just what I did.
Tardaron aproximadamente como quince minutos en llamarme, la verdad no lo contabilicé con exactitud ya que estaba hablando en el lugar, mientras estaba sentada supongo que la hora pasó rápido. Las hamburguesas me parecen un 10/10, son super básicas, tienen pollo, salsas, lechuga, y cebolla, pero el pan estaba suavecito, y el pollo bien cocinado y rico. Los strips, los amé, el pollo estaba divino, además que tenía un toque picantico, y las papas fritas, 7/10, estaban buenas, no digo que no, pero las de McDonald me siguen pareciendo más ricas.
It took them about fifteen minutes to call me, I didn't really count it exactly since I was talking in the place, while I was sitting down I guess the hour went by fast. The burgers I think are a 10/10, they are super basic, they have chicken, sauces, lettuce, and onion, but the bread was soft, and the chicken was well cooked and delicious. The strips, I loved them, the chicken was divine, plus it had a spicy touch, and the fries, 7/10, they were good, I'm not saying they weren't, but I still think the McDonald's ones are better.
En general, estuvo bueno el combo, recomendado cuando te agarra el hambre en la calle, debes solucionar con poco dinero, y te quieres comer algo rico. Tenia las tres B el combo, bueno, bonito y barato. Y para culminar, me compré un helado Sunday, me estaba tentando desde que entré con una valla publicitaria jaja. Y debo concluir que: ¡Me encantó! Estaba cremosito y lo pedí de vainilla con chocolate por encima.
In general, the combo was good, recommended when you get hungry on the street, you have little money, and you want to eat something tasty. The combo had the three B's, good, nice and cheap. And to top it off, I bought an ice cream Sunday, it was tempting me since I entered with a billboard haha. And I must conclude: I loved it! It was creamy and I asked for vanilla with chocolate on top.
