I love palitaw!! It also took me years of not eating it until recently I remembered it and searched it online to find a seller nearby haha. It’s one of my favorite kakanin apart from carioca, sapin-sapin, cassava cake (is that considered kakanin?😆), and champorado of course.

We always had sesame seeds and never heard of the peanut as the toppings. Now I can imagine how good it would taste but I can remember Tikoy instead. It’s also became my favorite recently 😍
