Introduction
We took a bit of a break over Christmas to spend time with fmaily and friends and to eat drink and be merry, also to play lots of Jazz... We love a bit of Christmas with the family but we also love presents as well. So we were wondering what people got for Christmas, let us know what you got. If we show you some of ours you show us yours?
Presents
Well obviously a lot of our presents are musical! I mean we not hard to buy for as long as you can make a tune on it! SO quite a few of the presents in our house were musical ones of course.
A banjo
Well we always wanted one so it was top of our list! and yes the first thing we learnt was "duelling banjos" and it was great fun. It has an amazing sound and tone and is very loud. You can imagine we made a lot of noise on Christmas day!Also the white drum part of the Banjo is made by a drum company which is interesting.
A Cigar box guitar
Now these are sweet little things! We had to part build this one and bolt it together. It has a great sound and only 3 strings to get your hear round and is perfect for a bit of pure blues slide playing. Luckily we took a slide with us so we could play on Christmas day while we were away.
Socks
These are a compulsory Christmas present in our house. Everyone must have new socks! Gotta keep those feet warm. Did anyone else get socks?
What did you get?
We all had a lovely Christmas overall, although there were a fair few colds around the place, which is almost like a Christmas tradition in the UK. We hope you all had a good one and let us know what presents you got!
