Annual around June to August is the period where Jessies dreads the most, as it is her company's appraisal period. This is the time where department heads are nominating their candidates for promotion and increment.
Having being in the company for the past decade, Jessies knows exactly how the system works and the last promotion she receives tracks all the way to 5 years back.
She is one of the employee who seldom applies for annual leave, let alone sick leave and her supervisor loves to "arrow" her with the most unpopular assignment and tasks but she would take it up but year after year, during review, she expressed disappointment from not being promoted and signal desire to be transfer but her supervisor would advise her to have confidence in the system as it is fair and transparent.
Yet another year of disappointment for Jessies once again, this time, without saying another word during review, she tender her resignation.
