Rachel was frantically searching her pockets, backpack and everything where her eyes see and her hand can reach for in the cafe. People around were puzzled by her strong reaction after letting off a loud scream.
It happens that while sipping her coffee in the nearest cafe from the airport after landing in Country X for her long awaited holiday, she was reaching out to grab her latest retail victory, a limited edition Labubu that she managed to get after spending a few grands opening surprise boxes. She realized it was no longer hanging on her backpack.
Just when she was about to burst into tear, the cafe owner Rose came up to her and after understanding what happened, Rose comforted her and suggested that she can visit the merchant of lost and things - Uncle Roger's store, people who has pick up lost items would often pawn it at his store for some spare cash and owner would have to redeem the item on top of a little interest for "safe-keeping" fee.
It is a famous store front with a big Lost and Found signboard just down the street. Rose told Rachel she can settle down in her hotel first as uncle Roger does not resale these items, you will have to prove to him you are the owner of the item before he will allow redemption. This is what make the store unique.
