Hi all, doing my 5 minutes free writing with prompt - Mature Cheese. Hope you enjoy the story.
A piece of mature cheese is one that with time that has been aged for a period of time enriching it's flavor which I will not be going into detail since I am no expert in this aspect. I only like cheese with my pasta 😄
But mature cheese does not necessary have to be serve on the table, in fact, in every organization, we are bound to be meeting a few mature cheese in our daily course of work, they are tenured employees who have been with the company for years, aging with the company, have a good piece of such mature cheese would be a treasure, as they can shorten your learning curve and be your walking encyclopedia that can help you solve and even avoid many problems.
But like a coin, on the flip side, some mature cheese does not taste "so nice" when they only love to tell you the old tales of their heroic acts or their great achievement that bring them to where they are but in context of time and changes and improvement might not even be applicable today.
So we have to be extremely careful of which mature cheese to choose in the workplace.
