Good morning all, doing my 5 minutes free writing with prompt - I Probably Deserved That. Hope you enjoy the story.
As Ronny sits back on his chair, scrolling through his contact list, thinking who should he call to relay the message that he will be missing the class get together that will be happening in 2 days time, he realized that the last message he received from a personal contact that was non-work related was actually 3 days ago from Steve, Ronny's best buddy back from school who sits next to him.
Ronny suddenly realized that he has quite lost touch with the world ever since he did a career switch as he has very much cuts himself off from the world as he was very much lazy to explain himself over and over again for his decision of a career switch.
Ronny's thought today was I probably deserved this, the loss of friendship, that lack of communication and the feeling of loneliness as he has taken the easy way out of not explaining and simply by isolating himself, keeping to himself and stop socializing by attending parties, get together or quite simply even updating his status on various social platform.
Having thinking through that, Ronny decided to pick himself up and go for the get together this time and surprise everybody.
