It is yet another long shift for Ronny tonight. Ronny has been a career nurse for the past 3 years, but ever since he did a mid career switch from a marketing manager to a nurse, he has avoided all friends gathering or school mates meet up ever since.
He is sick and tired of yet another lazy sterotype of him as a guy joining nursing as a career must be because of him having major setback at his previous role as a manager, and why would he a white collar do a career switch at 42? He is lazy also to constantly having to explain his decision.
Ronny decided for a career switch after his own father was ill 5 years ago with diabetes and eventually kidney failure. As a successful manager then, he does not have time to care for his father, and his father Robert being a traditional old rejects the idea of hiring a lady as his private care nurse and Ronny realized the difficulty of getting one in the market, thus he started to take course on wound management and patient care so that he can do it himself.
