Are the animals free?
Baboons kidnap puppy dogs and have them as pets. They groom them feed together and the dogs when grown protect the baboons from other feral dogs.

Enslavement of sorts is not restricted to human behaviour. The kidnapped dogs know no different to living with a pack of dogs and living with baboons. To them it is the norm. They do not realise they are controlled through upbringing.

Bringing back the humans. Well, we gave done what baboons do to dogs to many other animals. Even those that cannot be tamed we capture for our own pleasures and house them commutatively in zoo's. The difference between us and baboons? We can build enclosures and they can't?

So are people free?
Not a bloody chance. Just like the puppy's stolen. People are brought up not to know the restrictions held over them. It seems normal.

So what freedom do people have?
I am unable to leave the country I was born in without a passport. Held prisoner. Now I can understand needing a passport to enter another country. But to leave one? To leave the country by any method other than the governed and controlled method is illegal.

If you don't like it in a country, then leave? Leave to where? How? This seemed so easy for hundreds of thousands of immigrants. And the importation of them has lowered the standards in Ireland and I would guess every other country they went to. With thousands leeching of the social security systems.

The plants I can have on my property are restricted by government legislation. The animals I may own as pets is restricted. While the government permits imprisonment them in zoos. Duality of standards there.

You have a choice to visit the zoo or not. Have we any more freedoms than the pets we keep?

The foods I may eat are decided by people that do not even live in the same country. Where food is sourced from determined by others. Foods grown in Ireland exported out, only to import a lower grade product for sale.

But you have the choice to eat those foods or not.
In places it is illegal to grow your own food. Cannot even grow a carrot to feed your rabbit in your back garden.

This is the developed free world.

At this point. I do not even know what the word freedom stands for. I am told I live in a free world but I am not free to do anything. This is nothing new though, From my view/knowledge of history this has been set as a standard to be improved on. Improved for the minority with costs covered by the majority.

Examine history for yourself. Starting with tribes and building to armies. There was always disputes between neighbours. In those fights, there was always a leader. Be it a king or other title. Those inferior to the strength and might of the leader would do the bidding. Fight the wars protect the ruler. The choice to fight or not was never given.

In all of these wars. Some people of status were never asked to fight. They had exemption from the position held. Rulers got over thrown and kings killed. In the background stood the same whisperers gained favour with the new ruler. Eventually governments came about. In the background stood the same whisperers. The whispers turned to different ears.

While dealing with a king or an individual who owned an area. Corruption was not so easy. When dealing with someone who did not own the land but could control it. Bribery was much easier and the selling of a nations wealth began to grow stronger. Eventually gaining control over currencies in many nations.

That would bring us to somewhere around today.

So are ye free? How much time do you give up to employment or earning your way in life.

Let's say you work 8 hours a day. You should be sleeping/resting 8. With only 24 hours in the day that leaves 8 hours free? Not counting your time sleeping that's 50% of your time for you and 50% for your employer. Or is it. How much time is spent preparing for work? How much time to travel there and back? Then you need to cook eat wash and take care of other chores essential to your well being.

Freedom today is defined by the wealth you store these days. Less finance, less freedoms. When finance determines your freedom, there is no freedom for anyone but the most finance.

The value of a currency devalues as the costs of living rise. This is by design to keep people in place with dear of losing what they gained. New taxes will always get put in place to take more from you. Failure to pay these illegally imposed charges will result in confiscation of your property and imprisonment.
You work 40 years to buy a home. Then they take it away from you because they created a new tax. A new tax that should be covered by taxes already paid, But that tax money got misused and funnelled to private wallets.

So are ye free?
Or are ye damned to enslavement of the need for money?

The bigger question might be. Can we have all we have now under a different system?
Or what part of the current system needs changing?

On a scale, using 1 - 10. 1 lowest. How great is Hive if you remove your bias? What does Hive do that other chains with more backing and a wider infrastructure do not? All of these other chains have contact with their users. Hive, well ye can't get a witness to talk to ye until they want a vote, Then they fuck off to silence again. They all want ye support cause that brings them what? Finance or completion of their project. A project probably supported and funded by the DHF. Should the project make a profit. Does anything come back to the chain?

The blockchain constantly invests to projects that make those with the wealth wealthier and more control over the chain. Then there is the policing. This goes too far and polices language. Policing language is a violation of a freedom of speech. While I can agree monitorisation of content is needed. This should be restricted a contents legality.

Hive is just like the world with governments. The things said to get something done are often only words used to suit the moment. There is very little thoughts on the future of the Hive chain. You will be told of project getting developed. Code getting wrote so other things can be done.

On one side.
You have people saying that the leeching of funds and trading them for other tokens puts a strain on the chain. Well, No one wants to try combat that. So STFU about it, unless you want to contribute to making a change.
On the other side.
Supported by the DHF the proposals ongoing. Code taking months to write. How much of this is cashed out putting a strain on the chain?
