Today I wondered how the flowers at the sea felt. You know, as I told you before, everything is different there. In a way, I might even envy seagulls, although they have a pretty tough life. But you remember, I once told you the story of a feline knight, without one leg, whom I met on the street in a seaside town. He looked fine, he survived, he probably got vet help when he lost his leg, and it looks like someone is feeding him. Which means there are good people out there on the coast.
But my mind was on the flowers. Everyone feels good at sea, better than anywhere else. I'm sure flowers feel the same way, although they don't know it, they have no basis for comparison, they have no legs, so to speak, they can't travel. As to say - there, in the north, for example, I was very sick, cold and sick. Here, at the sea, everything is wonderful.
They don't know it, but they are blissful in their ignorance. And so the most ignorant are the happiest...

Soul's Detour is a project started by me years ago when I had a blog about historical and not so popular tourist destinations in Eastern Belgium, West Germany and Luxembourg. Nowadays, this blog no longer exists, but I'm still here - passionate about architecture, art and mysteries and eager to share my discoveries and point of view with you. |
