I really like how so many throwaway lines get important further down the line. How the Dilemma can drive through walls without a scratch became important, or the hatches for Lemony and Kit...

The world doesnt feel as grim as ASOUE, maybe because the narrator Lemony hasnt seen as many bad things and still has hope in his organisation?
And I liked that we saw Widdershins in the end. I thought he was older and not Lemonys generation but maybe that is just the way he was portrayed (literally) in the series. I can not remember his description in the books.
Oh and I also like that there was less of Theodora in this book. She is fun as a character but whenever she is involved, things just get so incredibly frustrationg :D still waiting for the surprise twist "Theodora is Mr. Poes mother" since she is like him :D
This was a really quick and easy read like the rest of the series. I liked that we had ASOUE characters in this one to help tie the two series together. I also liked how Cleo was able to invent something and help Moxie, which lowkey reminded me of Violet too and how inventive she could be. I do think this mystery was a little bit easy to solve and it wasn't that compelling to me. The mystery of Hangfire was definitely the better plot and I like how he isn't overused like Olaf was at times. The set up for the next book was interesting so I'll probably be reading that.
