Thanks for leaving a comment. As for oxidation, I confirm that I knew that it is the process in which an atom, ion or molecule loses electrons. Reduction, on the other hand, is the opposite process, that is, the process in which an atom, ion or molecule gains electrons. Then we also have the Oxidation-Reduction reactions (in Italy they are also called Redox reactions), which is nothing more than the process in which oxidation and reduction occur simultaneously.
