I grew up with dogs, but this will be the first time I've adopted one as an adult myself. I've been reading Zak George's books and the AKC Canine Good Citizen book to prepare, as well as watching Zak's YouTube videos, because my parents never really trained any of their dogs, and we will need good leash manners going for walks in the city. I plan to train for the Canine Good Citizen test. :)
