The DHF topic all dried up. Tradie removed the vote and the threshold is now back to normal. Discussion over. All of the other things that came up around it. Are they gone now too?

The fundamental things still remain though. Little errors in the system that allow manipulation with ease. Is there any real thought to having change. Over the past couple of weeks. I have listened to many talk about what is wrong. How this is corrupt. What is needed. Things that need to change.

To all of them I feel I have something to offer. A penny Thought. That is about all I can give or a penny vote. I think the thought holds more value. As that is where I have found most value from those I have talked to. If you have a big vote that will help too, but a positive conversation can yield higher rewards.

Personally I am tired of all of the talk and of what needs to be done. To vote on proposals and their posts. When I do not see the positive return.

I can talk more Blarney than most I have seen on chain. Than most I have heard talk on the discord servers around Hive. That is what I hear mostly when I am hearing people talk now. Talking Blarney about the surface tension on a deep lake. Where the ripples are forming and how they move. Everything beneath obsolete.

I do not think Hive would last long without the DHF to support essential features. I think those should be supported. I do not know the cost to running a witness against the returns it brings. For the majority I would say. Lucky on a break even.

I think an effort to give support there should be made. Maybe this should not be done through the DHF. In what we might develop to replace the DHF I think we should consider some options to assist there. The same for the running of nodes. In development of an alternative. We should also add some capabilities for assisting with other projects that are positive for the chain long term. We should have some projects to support as a need of the chain.

Something like I think @therealwolf is doing. Memory storage decentralised. This would be simple to incorporate to an external support for the Hive blockchain and the tokens provided by.

I have talked about the thing above and to come below many times in many ways and the end word is like the idea. Would be nice if you could get it to work. The thing is . If I thought there was even a chance one person any person. Could pull this off alone. I would try alone. There is not a point % it could.

I heard stories of communities who have utilised the use of Hive tokens for trade. This is a great thing and I never hear anyone say anything bad about it. Well let me be that B...

The initial good is there. someone got something for a token made on the Hive blockchain. Where is the victory? It got used is not the victory. That is only part of the journey. Some body got a coffee for their Hive token. Now the token is somewhere else. How is this wallet going to use that Hive token? There is a god chance. whoever the vendor they use might not accept the Hive token. Even if he did, would his vendor too?

At some point in the journey. The token is sent to Savings, Hive Power, lays idle or is exchanged. The latter being the instance in most cases of commerce use. The end result down pressure. This we can reverse.

I hope more than myself can see the positive sides to reversing that trend. reversing that trend while having more people spend more Hive tokens. Now that sounds like a win win to me.

What could be done would comply with all laws in all jurisdictions it operates. This compliance is easy to incorporate. This could also mean that any persons holding positions of influence within the community may need to KYC themselves for accountability reasons.

I think the proposal system. Or the idea of a proposal system should be kept. The funding of the proposal changed away from the DHF fund. The way a proposal gets rewarded also changed. Modification to the proposal system and a classification of proposals.

The removal of the DHF should take place over the time and even exceed the time it takes to replace it.

Whatever road is chosen if the DHF were to be replaced. It will need funding. The wider the range of places this funding comes from the better. Support from the DHF would be great and quicken the process to enable a stronger support effort to the chain.

You are building something that can provide better support and economy for the chain and the people who utilise it in any form.

Those are the four things that comes to mind to gain the finance needed to bring an alternative about.

Posts and votes give some autonomy to the chain. These rewards belong to an account and not a person. Operating the account someone would be provided posting keys. The moving of finance from any account would be multi-sign.

Donations, I do not see much of that happening. But then maybe that might suit some. This would also give the account autonomy.

Investment. This would provide long term benefits and a short term investment would be advised against.

Location.

No matter the location tried. The results will not vary much in the % to investment. Regardless of where. The overall cost will be the same. The idea to reach as many areas as possible should never go stray.

Reaching all area's can only happen if you have a strong grounding to begin from. In order for your presence to be felt when you leave. The impression must be strong. The do it everywhere all at once thing has been going for too long without bringing back a positive result. From funding by Steemit to funding from the DHF and parts in between. The same complaints about Hive are still there.

Start in one area and make Hive a strong presence in that area. By becoming the END USER for Hive tokens.

If the chain does not bring about an account and then multiple accounts on the chain that can act as end users and not need to turn the token to FIAT. We will not accomplish much.

If there was a higher demand for the Hive tokens and HIVE was at $3. These conversations would not come about. Because everyone would be happy with their nice returns. In reversing the trend and turning FIAT to HIVE. We generate value for HIVE, This in turns means we have more dollar value to cover more costs. We will give out lower amounts of HIVE as compensation for contract work done for the chain.

Within in all of this. There is continuous growth and evolving. From part sponsorship for education some medical facilitation, health related projects energy supplies. Things you might consider a need in todays world.

This can be done with the intention of repetition and expansion to other areas county's country's and nations best if done first in a developed society. Once multiple replications have been done. We link them if needed for additional support. Each individual area operates alone. It gives back to the blockchain some of the benefits it gained from our involvement. Uses more to expand the influence in the local area for improvement and maintenance.

What returns to the chain is utilised in the same manner. Some is used to reinforce what we have already on chain. While more is used to grow new areas of development.

No one else wants Hive tokens. We on the chain do. We want our HBD token to be worth a dollar. Even after someone just sold 10K of them. We want our HIVE to have the look of an ever increasing value.

Yet the only thing we do is provide more tokens to put down pressure and develop more ways to do this.

Reverse this process by development of an alternative methodology.
