Ah, good ol' despicable me. I spent hours, no, days in front of the TV with my kid when he went through his phase of watching despicable me, and well, I kinda liked it actually. In fact, even although my son rolls his eyes when a new episode of Gru comes out, the wife and I are usually eager to watch it.
I loved this when it first came out. I didn't realise this was going to be their centrepiece for a long list of crazy feminist films. Nevertheless, a disney princess that was saved by her sister rather than prince charming was quite endearing at first. Loved the storline before the world went a bit insane.
Ice age, ah, now, I can watch ice age all day. This one is close to my heart and I love it. Crazy that it came out 22 years ago. The gfx isn't looking that bad for that era either. Pretty cool! My favourite was sid, because he was stupid and funny. A bit like me.
Ahh, back when movies were really good. I went to the movies with @beardoin to see this one when we were only 18 or 19 or so in his clapped out fiesta. It was fun though, "insectopia" seems familiar, like we've all been chasing that as of late!
Anyway, these are my picks. Hope you enjoy.
