It's the end of Tuesday, January 7th. And it has been a day of relative calm for us in this part of the world, it was a day of shopping and minor chores.
And I'm glad that we bought close to home, at a vegetable market that has evolved into a small grocery store.
The owners are people from the Andean region, and they are quite organized and hard-working. They began working in the area in a very precarious way, selling directly from the transport truck, then they took over part of an unused hardware store, and at the end of last year they remodeled a basement of a warehouse in the area. From my point of view, they are a good example of dedication and work.
The way things are going, I wouldn't be surprised if in a few months they do another remodeling and improve the space, or move to a better one. They are nice, hard-working, and well-mannered people, so we always wish them the best.
As you can see, my post today is 'light', because I don't want to touch on certain politically tense issues that are in vogue this week in my country. It's not something I can fix, and it's not pleasant, so I prefer to share about other topics. Besides, it's really been a day that I can consider pleasant.
Tomorrow I have to go out to make some payments at a nearby office, and I hope I can do everything I owe without running into any inconveniences. So I have to sleep early today.

Está terminando el día martes, 7 de enero. Y ha sido un día de relativa calma para nosotros en esta parte del mundo, fue día de hacer compras y tareas menores.
Y me alegro de que compramos cerca de casa, en una feria de hortalizas que ha evolucionado a ser un pequeño abasto.
Los dueños son gente de la región andina, y son bastante organizados y trabajadores. Comenzaron a trabajar en la zona de una manera muy precaria, vendiendo directamente desde el camión de transporte, luego se hicieron con una parte de un local sin uso de una ferretería, y a fines del año pasado remodelaron un semisótano de un galpón de la zona. Desde mi punto de vista, son un buen ejemplo de dedicación y trabajo.
Tal como van, no me extrañaría que en unos meses hagan otra remodelación y mejoren el espacio, o se muden a uno mejor. Son gente agradable, trabajadora, y de buenas maneras, así que se les desea siempre lo mejor.
Como vez, mi post de hoy está 'light', porque no quiero tocar ciertos temas de tensión política que están en boga esta semana en mi país. No es algo que pueda yo arreglar, y no es agradable, así que prefiero compartir de otros temas. Además, en serio ha sido un día que puedo considerar agradable.
Me toca mañana salir a hacer unos pagos en una oficina cercana, y espero que pueda hacer todo lo que debo, sin encontrarme con inconvenientes. Así que debo dormir temprano hoy.
Ya me despido, deseándote que tú estés bien y que nos podamos leer de nuevo en otra oportunidad.
