Hi community!
A group of 10 players are regulars in the starting eleven, while there is another group of 10 with less participation due to technical decision or injury.
In this first stretch of 20 official matches, counting LaLiga and the Champions League, Hansi Flick has opted for a block of 10 starting players. Others have been incorporated punctually into the starting team and there are the substitutes who have a much smaller playing load. Injuries have had something to do with these few rotations, but the gap is noticeable, also due to technical decisions.
Lewandowski, with 20 out of 20, has always started. Cubarsí (19), Iñigo Martínez (19), Raphinha (19), Koundé (18), Pedri (18), Casadó (15), Lamine (15), Balde (14), and Iñaki Peña (13). Then, there are others who also start, although with less presence due to injuries, such as Gerard Martín (6), Olmo (5), Fermín (5) and Gavi (2), but already at a considerable distance from minutes.
And there are the substitutes with less intervention and, therefore, with less participation. De Jong, due to his physical vicissitudes, has only been able to start a couple of times, being absent due to injury on 9 occasions. Ansu Fati has only started once, being in the infirmary on 8 occasions. Héctor Fort, only started twice and Pau Víctor, once. In his case, which is very unusual, the striker has played five games, coming on in the 89th minute. And there is Ferran Torres, who has only been in the starting eleven in five games.
The last group are the injured. Araujo and Christensen have not played, Gavi has joined midway through the season, as has De Jong, and others have come and gone, such as Ansu, Olmo and Ferran Torres. Ter Stegen will miss the entire season, as has Marc Bernal.
See You soon! 🏐
