This is what FC Barcelona have announced in the medical statement issued: he suffers from "a muscle injury in the hamstring of his right leg" and the Catalan club also adds the estimated time that the forward trained at La Masia will be out: approximately "four weeks".
This is, therefore, the second injury that Ansu Fati has suffered this season. The first, during the preseason, was plantar fasciitis in his right foot that prevented him from travelling with the rest of the expedition to the tour of the United States and made him miss the first five games of LaLiga.
It took him a month to make his debut, which has meant that he has started at a bit of a disadvantage compared to his teammates. In addition, he is the fourth player with the fewest minutes in the Blaugrana squad (158'), only surpassing Gavi (48'), Christensen (26') and Andrés Cuenca (6').
According to FC Barcelona, the injury will keep him out for approximately one month. He will therefore be absent for a minimum of six matches, which are listed below: Celta de Vigo (23 November), Brest (26 November), Las Palmas (30 November), Mallorca (3 December), Betis (7 December) and Borussia Dortmund (11 December).
See You soon! 🏐
