In fact, Barcelona was unaware that Leo Messi intended to visit the newly renovated Camp Nou. They found out this Monday morning. The player went to the facilities and, upon being recognized, the security staff granted him entry without any problem. The club, however, made it clear that the Argentine is always welcome and even expressed this through a post on social media a few hours after Messi uploaded the photos. It was the player himself who made his visit public.
Leo Messi enjoyed the renovated stadium where he experienced so many glorious nights and afternoons. In fact, the footballer posted pictures of both the exterior and interior of the Camp Nou, and especially of himself walking on the pitch. It's been more than four years since the international star and Barcelona parted ways, in August 2021. But the Barça fans haven't forgotten him.
