Hi community!
Great performance by the English player in these first matches of the season.
One of Barcelona's successes this summer has been its signings. The first to demonstrate this was Joan García, who from the outset justified the club's €25 million buyout. A goalkeeper's adaptation is always easier than that of an outfield player, and the former Espanyol player was key from the start. Marcus Rashford's start hasn't been as swift, but he's now at a significant cruising speed.

This Tuesday, he had his best game of the season since donning the Barça shirt. He scored two goals and earned the penalty that Lamine Yamal later converted. An outstanding performance that was overshadowed by Fermín's hat trick, but which confirms the British player's gradual improvement.
Rashford's advantage is that he always contributes something to the team: whether it's through goals, assists, winning penalties, or drawing cards. His performance has been excellent in the Champions League, both in Tuesday's match and in the one he played at Newcastle, where he scored both of Barcelona's winning goals.
Rashford is making excellent use of the space left by injuries to key players. He's the only forward, along with Roony, who hasn't had to miss a single moment due to injury. He's always been available to the manager when Lewandowski, Raphinha, and Ferran have been injured, and he's taken advantage of the opportunities. It won't be easy to bench the Briton, given his current performances.
Based on what we've seen, it seems clear that Barcelona will have to exercise their purchase option for the player, who, it should be noted, is on loan from Manchester United. Although it's still too early to make a decision and we'll have to see how his performance develops throughout the season, everything points to paying the 30 million euros set at the option being an excellent market price.
See You soon!
