Barcelona returned to the 1:1 rule at the beginning of January. An important achievement because the club had not been able to do so for some time. Once the Uruguayan was sealed, the club closed the continuity of two key pieces for the future such as Pedri and Gavi. These were the fundamental steps that had to be taken.
And from that moment on? Well, not much because there was no more 'Fair Play'. Departures were necessary to bring someone in, but there was no way. On the one hand, the players did not want to leave and, on the other, the Sports Directorate was changing its strategy regarding the loans since it refused to pay a large part of the salary as had been done on previous occasions. For all this, there have been no more movements. The club is applying its strategy without being carried away by urgency that leads nowhere.
