Hi community!
After the 2-2 draw against Betis, the Blaugrana team held a recovery training session at the Ciutat Esportiva and the Uruguayan returned to participate with the group.
After the 2-2 draw at the Benito Villamarín, FC Barcelona is now focused on Wednesday's Champions League clash against Borussia Dortmund and this Sunday at midday the squad did a recovery and compensation training session at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper. Most of the players who started against Betis stayed in the gym doing exercises, but Lewandowski and Pedri did some continuous running and the rest of the substitutes did some field work.
Among the players who took to the pitch on pitch 2 of the Ciutat Esportiva was Ronald Araujo. The Uruguayan defender continues to progress well and is in the final stages of recovering from the injury to the hamstring in his right leg that has prevented him from playing so far this season. Araujo has already been participating partially in training for more than a week, but it remains to be seen whether he will be available to face Borussia Dortmund.
For their part, Ansu Fati and Andreas Christensen continued with their respective recovery processes away from the group and their return to their teammates will still have to wait some time.
See You soon! 🏐
